The Journey Matters
Journey 029

Description

Journey 029 is an original ink drawing by Rhonda Mason. It forms part of her body of work titled The Journey Matters. This unique abstract artwork features permanent black ink on 300 gsm Arches cold-pressed cotton paper. The classic textured ivory paper provides the perfect backdrop for Mason’s freehand lines and the stories that they tell.

The Journey Matters explores the imperfect beauty of being human, as well as the universal human experience of journeying from day to day, not knowing what the next day will bring. Each artwork in the collection is dated the day it was made, and the artworks are titled according to the order in which they were created. There are 180 artworks in the entire collection. You can read Mason’s essay on The Journey Matters here.
